I can't help but feel there is something intrinsically wrong when a class in which I learn to control multi-ton vehicles(which I already love!) that can turn into vehicles of DEATH AND DESTRUCTION and then possibly fireballs if improperly handled...is very possibly my least favorite. I mean, really! Of all the classes!

driver's ed, school

Take heart your instructors most likely don't slammed their hands on the dash board and scream at you mid-sentence to 'keep you on your toes'.

I would not put it past him. He is that sort of guy. He yells at anyone who gets out of their seat without asking(even just to get/throw away a tissue).

I think your instructor is more of a strict authority than what mine was. I can best describe you by two stories from drivers ed. In the similators what were of old-grainy projector film we had to 'drive' he would talk and make jokes, make cartoon impressions like Donald duck, making us relax before slamming his feet to the floor and screaming when we were about to 'hit' someone or something. It truely was rattling, even thinking of it now it is like a flash back of 'wtf fear'. BACK to that yelling thing he did, he would also do death statisics and sanario plays, like when I was driving he once talked about how many people are decapatated every year on average from crashing into the rears of semis and delivery trucks, then he pulled his yell-slam-scare the crap out of you when I was behind one and pulling to a stop due to a red light. I will say this, what the fuck he was thinking I don't know and I had a row with him infront of the students in the back of the car because my foot nearly slipped off the brake peddle, right onto the ( ... )

Ho-ly crap. Yeah, that's insane.

Thanks for the advice, I will remember that when I'm actually allowed behind the wheel. As it is, all I'm doing so far is notes. Pages and pages of notes.

Shame you don't have the same driver's ed teacher I did. Mine would take a nap while I was driving.

Wow, really? That...seems to defeat the point of the instructor riding with you.

Yup! I guess it helped that I acted far more mature than the others in my group. He would stay awake for them. With me he just told me to keep in the neighbourhoods until it was someone else's turn.
