Turkey Number Two
I dunno how I forgot to post this but...
Last week I used Amanda's 11 pound ball and just stuck my two fingers, no thumb in the holes and tried to spin it like all those guys that get the crazy high scores do in the lanes next to us. I got a strike...my next turn I tried it with Betty, my 14 pounder...I dont think I even hit the lane, went straight into the gutter...she was just to heavy to spin. I was a lil embarrased (when I hit the gutter it went Ka-BANG!!!) so I started bowling normally after that.
This week I wasn't doing so hot, not terrible - but Amanda was beating me by quite a bit, so I decided to try the spin move again since I prolly couldn't catch up. My first try I got nine pins...then picked up the spare, so I decided I would stick with it. The next three rolls, I got strikes. Pretty freakin amazing that I had only attempted spinning the ball maybe 4 rolls in the past before getting a turkey doing it. After the turkey it was the last frame, got nine - then picked up the spare...and then got another strike on my bonus roll. Ended up whooping her and Char's asses. Goodtimes.
I dont think I will ever roll the ball the normal way again :)
