I loved Robotech, in all its incarnations. To bad they blew it. Hollywood has been desperate for new ideas or at least ideas to remake. Too bad.

OMFG Thank you. I had forgotten it was set in 2009. I only liked the first iteration of Robotech (esp since the later stories were actually other anime strung together, but I didn't know that at the time), but it would have been great as a movie.

Then again, a holly remake would probably ruin everything.
