Spinning like a spider..eh? I guess you're right. It's just as valid - if not more valid - a form of expression than publishing a book of writings or something. Note that in making that statement I'm assuming that the largest number of people who witness your expression=validity. This is a shitty assessment.
There are times when "blogging" is a chore and I think I should be doing something more productive/creative. And then I know I am not reaching as many people as I used to because lj isn't cool anymore. No one wants to read a series of paragraphs when they have streamlined facebook/twitter/google+ to provide two sentences of updates, shares, and opinions.
But I like it here, and come back to it time and again.
Just wish I had more drive to keep up with it or more people I actually knew in real life still used it.
I tried to save a house centipede (HORRORS!) from the bathroom sink at the library. It's legs kept falling off, so it would wiggle away, fall down stairs, etc. Eventually got it outside, but those legs... I can't forgive myself, even though I am pretty sure that partially is why they have so many, so they can lose some when need be. So I feel your bee poem.
Blogging is typically, in my mind, a chore that needs to be done. It needs to be done because overtime a buildup of thoughts and ideas occurs and such a buildup tends to weigh down my daily procedures
( ... )
While still a bit "into" the Protestant Reformation, I have become far more interested in the Balkan Wars since making this entry. I'm not studying that in history class; we're focused on Louis XIV now..leaving the Protestants in the dust.
