I ordered spur of the moment pizza the other day. There's something about doing it--and many other things--spontaneously that makes it all the more delightful. I also bought spur of the moment beer: that helped, too.
Spur of the moment pizza always feels great because pizza is not too expensive so it doesn't feel as if you've splurged on something unplanned/unnecessary. Spur of the moment beer is also great of course, as is a fully planned beer purchase. As it is easier to drink than eat pasta between typing sentences, I drank a bit too fast when writing this.. as such that last paragraph is like big mess of contradictory things I could fix it but I think that if I am honest with the way I go about doing things on this journal, I should leave it alone I can laugh at it in the near future.
I agree about leaving things on livejournal unedited. Even if I do change something in a story or poem now, I always put the revision in a separate file or put it after the original with the revision date. There's something special, and as you say, honest, about keeping things in their unadulterated state. I'm in the middle of drinking spur of the moment apple cider, so if this comment is a mess, it's on me. Haha.
Apple cider...hmmm. I was thinking about getting some of that when I was most recently at the liquor store but I felt I should do my research first before picking out a bottle. I am looking forward to our next meet up, partly because I am excited to play Lawless Scrabble while listening to the Sit Back and Relax playlist, assuming grooveshark hasn't been shutdown by that time. I have to respond to your rym message soon.Things are fine here save for the usual unraveling sanity. Ahh, but the unraveling sanity is fine too, actually.
tell your dream uncle it's all freaky. I've always respected your ability to draw backgrounds. I use a whole page for just a head and that makes a boring story.
Backgrounds are great fun to draw but I am so used to drawing them that I am a bit afraid to leave negative space sometimes, especially on white paper. Sometimes all you need is a head on a whole page.
If you're asking about the Texas solo show, yeah..I had it in the summer. If you're asking about a group show then you might want to be more specific, as there are lots of those in the past/going on/coming up, etc.
thank you for being here. This is random...well, not really, in my brain time line...anyway though, I was thinking about you, livejournally speaking, and i missed a feeling i had back in 2005 or 6, live journal emotions. Desolation etc. :) Still hope to see you oneday in the flesh.
I miss that time period as well, digitally speaking. Things were very lively on here and it was something I took for granted then - reading the intimate thoughts of all my livejournal friends. Now its all about the shortest of blurbs and I find it rather sad. One day we'll likely meet but in any case, thanks for the appreciation.
