Goddamn it. Seconds after finishing "Woman in the Dunes," I got out of the chair and knocked over the sake bottle I had been nurturing. Sake and glass on the floor. In chemistry, out of the corner of my tired eye, I thought I spied a "rod." You know those not-so-paranormal "rod" things? Everything is a bit dark and sooty lately.
