So I have this problem. I have flown a Cirrus in every state in the union except for one: Hawaii. This has been bugging me for years. I've got all of Canada, a fair bit of Mexico, most of the Bahamian islands... but only 49 states.

That Sat phone bill will be a high one... you think a dial up modem would be fast enough?

It wouldn't be a premium play experience but it'd work. Got a buddy up in Alaska who's played it on dialup speeds for years.

I thought for a second that you would be doing a 16 hour flight. But then I did some rounding-work and realized it would be a 17 hour flight.

Who can do anything for 17 hours?

Almost 17 hours? By yourself? That sucks! Do you take out all the passenger seats/is there no way to bring someone along to keep you awake/alive?

All the passenger seats are removed to be replaced by fuel tanks so no, it'll just be me. I will see if I can raise some airliners passing overhead for chit chat... once I tire of them calling me crazy for doing this then I'll have to find something else to do.

Lamest game of "I spy" ever!

17 hours is a long damn time, man. What do pilots do for things like this? A person can only read for so many hours.

I spy... something blue.

I'm going to figure out how to put some movies on my ipad and see if we can get enough power to keep my laptop working... if so, I can play me some video games if I can figure out a way to rig it. Might be tough (see added pics above).

I'll read, talk to myself, take some videos... maybe I should read some Lovecraft? It is the Pacific, after all.
