I really want to watch you unicycle now. And it occurs to me that you might like this song, though you appear to have unicycle euphoria at the moment. (This is the band whose songs always make me think of you and Will without fail whenever I hear them.)
I wouldn't say the learning process is behind me... it is a lot about balance, I did read a few tips, but most of it is one of those "get a feel for it" things. It took a half hour or so to figure out how to mount the thing consistently (while holding a wall), then I spent the next three or so hours of practice following next to the wall (and still falling off). Now (grand total of four or four and a half hours of practice) I can go ten or fifteen feet away from the wall on a good run, but pretty often it just squirts out from under me without my having gone any decent distance. The nice thing is that I've been pretty good about jumping away from it and landing on my feet rather than falling down - I've only _fallen_ once or twice.
