[There's a comfortable familiarity to having Claire back in the Fire Nation that Zuko can't deny, either. Spending a month here meant that there's no awkwardness between them, no where's-the-bathroom or waiting-to-sit. It's nice.

It does make for a pretty good excuse to have in your reserves, though. I mean, it's like a catch-all, presidential veto style. Except ... with copious amounts of well-deserved social judgment.

[ she's not expecting him to process much of that, honestly, she's just talking while she heads into his room, finding her way over to the sitting area and getting the dvd player set up on the floor in front of a seating pad that they'd both have room to sit on. ]
