1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Moved in with someone out of pure adoration instead of desperation.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't last year. This year I will go to the gym more and give quitting smoking a real shot.

No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thank god no one did.
5. What countries did you visit?
Just this one.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Enrollment in school, an administrative job instead of food service or retail, and physical fitness.
7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Every day pales in comparison to November 19th and 20th, which is when my mom was in the hospital for her transplant.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
While a lot of other things were in limbo, I never doubted my identity. 3 years ago I couldn't have said that.
9. What was your biggest failure?
My anxiety took away a lot of my ability to function, but I am medicated now (the 2nd drug I've tried in 2010) and hoping for the best.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Besides the anxiety, a bout of crazy pneumonia.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A haircut. Getting rid of the mo/faux-hawk was a good idea. I may revisit it in the future, but now is not the time.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Alyssa's for getting thousands of dollars in grants for her job. She is amazing.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The people I used to work for. I don't think I have ever been relieved for being unemployed.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Alcohol, thrift store clothes, rent, my bike and student loans.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going back to school, though I didn't do it yet. Expressing myself through style for the first time.
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?
"Moth's Wings" by Passion Pit. Pretty much that whole album. It was my commuting soundtrack.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder?
Happier. Much happier.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercising, writing, doing things with my hands (meaning art/building, you pervs).

Drinking, smoking, and ordering in food (especially from the place ACROSS THE STREET!)
20. How did you be spend Christmas?
Christmas Eve and day with Alyssa's family. The two days after were with mine.

Alyssa or my mother, haha.
22. Did you fall in love in 2010?
No, I was already in love, but I discovered more reasons for me to be in love. More things to be sappy about, haha.

None.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
Everyone knows I'm obsessed with Grey's Anatomy. Alyssa made me start watching Gossip Girl and Top Model.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
There is only one person I know who has truly earned that word, and I have been hating him for years, so no.

28. What did you want and get?
Moving my relationship to the next level, a healthy family and Netflix on the Wii, haha.

The weed I paid for before christmas...hah, also I've been searching for a new hat forever and have yet to find one for cheap. I may have to lay down $60 on a driving cap that may last forever.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I wish I had seen Black Swan before the new year because it would win. I guess The Kids Are Alright.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 24. There was a party for the transmale culture magazine Original Plumbing, so I went (and of course a lot of my friends were there). Alyssa volunteered me to read because people dropped out. Amos and Rocco are so hot, haha. Um, then we drank PBRs at Tattooed Mom's. Next Mako's for even cheaper beer. Then Alyssa had to stop and pee in an alley, followed by her bending over to pick up a quarter and some guy rooting for me and the blowjob he thought was happening.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A job I enjoyed.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Evolving into something I actually like from just throwing clothes on.

Alyssa, weed, wine, and my written journal.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Zooey Deschanel. Always. The fact that she married Ben Gibbard makes me love her more. Also some of the queer porn stars I follow on twitter. I want to hang out with them.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
DADT and gay marriage. It's hard when you run in circles of mostly gay people, you see a skewed perspective.

A lot of people. Geo, Rachel, Aiden, Zak and Ryan.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Pretty much everyone I met through Alyssa.
