I didn't read the first part right away and thought if my name wasn't on the list, I was cut...and I thought "Man, she just commented on my entry too!" But now I see those are people who you are cutting, so I am safe I guess?

I need to do a post like this. I delete people, but never post about it and then later hear them asking why I deleted them when I had no idea who they even are. Or they just keep me listed as a friend and it hogs up my profile.

I don't usually post about it either, and none of these people are recently cut - some of them just randomly friended me (no comment, or any tie-in that I can see), and I few are cuts from a LONG time ago (like, months and years ago). I'm just getting tired of looking at their names, just getting in the way, lol.

I did cut a few people more recently, who are not on the list, but no worries, you're not one of them! Looking forward to your lj idol entries - I have a few people on my flist participating this year. :)

you are able to 'ban users', i do it often to clean up my info page from all the people i dont want there. and they arent able to comment on your posts.
