OK, so now that I've learned a pretty firm grounding for how to be a highly effective teacher, and seen that nobody is doing it (why I wanted to be a teacher in the first place), I'm beginning to see why nobody is doing it, why nothing is changing even though many people want it to change. i've been on a big education kick lately... being at a school and all. there are some alternativeeducation things that are creeping into the school system and i'm looking those up. i've got a fellow americorps member who's an evergreen grad who has lots of things to say about education, too. i've decided the 3 of us should start a school. and it whould somehow be accessible. yes.
