how long has it been since i wrote a real update? wait, don't answer that. i don't really want to know. and it doesn't really matter, i suppose.

here's what's been going on: last weekend i went to the metropolitan cooking and entertaining show with erin and had a fantastic time.  highlights were the sample bar of curries and the wine slushies (

And yeah, welcome back to LJ, baby. Don't you know you're supposed to live here and read my every word, counting the minutes until the next ones? I mean, they're so practical, my thoughts. : )

yes, that image makes me crack up too. i just can't see him on a horse, period...let alone on one running through the surf. if it actually happens, i'll be sure to take pictures so you can see it for yourself!

also, despite my writing absence i have been lurking and relatively keeping up with my friends; your words are not something i would want to miss. so don't worry, i'm still there, even if only in a shadow-y kind of form.

when are you coming down for another visit? or is it our turn to come up?
