At my knit's end

So lately I've become literally obsessed with knitting.  I taught myself how to do it this summer with a beginners' book, a hunk of cheap yarn, and some size 6 needles from a beginner's kit that I bought at Michael's.  Now I can't stop.  I pretty much do it during every spare moment of my life.  I've heard that knitting can be a sort of meditation ( Read more... )

And yay for knitting! Obsessive meditation = a good thing. Much better for one than, say, nymphomania or an addiction to All My Children. :-)

I was actually wondering what's wrong with an addiction to nymphomania. It is the lesser of the two evils. I don't think I'm quite up to par for the knitted uterus doll. But someday I will achieve it. And when I do, you will get one.

OMG!!! That is pretty much one of the coolest things ever. I wonder if anyone could knit a complete human?

Wow, I just had visions of God knitting Adam and Eve. Maybe he's not omnipotent, he just has mad knitting skills?
