As a kid, I remember watching an animated film of Puff the Magic Dragon. I don't remember much about it, other than it really spectacularly capturing a sense of melancholy (and what does it say that whay I looked for in cartoons as a kid was melancholy?). Would be interesting to see it again now, see how it holds up.
