I love my family, I do...but sometimes I really wish I could just kick them out of the house and have it to myself at times. I want to create things but I just don't have the space to do it here. I feel artistically cramped, so to speak, and therefore, I art less. I really like working downstairs, but I can't really do that with the kids all over

I don't live with my parents, but I totally know what you mean about feeling artistically cramped. Right now I've got myself and 2 others (my boyfriend, and a friend of ours who came to stay with us while he gets back on his feet) in a -tiny- one bedroom apartment. I can't really get away from anyone even if I do go hole myself up in my room. Today is one of those rare days where I have the house to myself and I am really getting down and dirty on commissions and personal projects today. It feels SO nice!
