How beautiful;
the golden willow
silhouette graces
the early evening
pearl gray sky;
autumn contentment
murmurs within
my soul.....

I was driving home from the forest preserve when this amazingly beautiful willow tree caught my eye. It has been a good day, and the sighting of this tree was the perfect grace note. Earlier I watched geese landing

I miss those geese! I saw just one or two small flocks earlier in the season, and I'll see a lot more at Yule!
