Morning Thoughts and a Poem

I haven't posted here at all for quite a while. The words do not come as easily as before, and I find myself focusing more on nesting. Love, love, love your poem!

As far as combining two households-we've been in this house for 5 years and still have unpacked boxes, stacks of books. Good luck with that one. We don't have offspring, either!

Thanks again, me! Isn't it funny? When I think of you I think of someone with boundless energy. And in addition to the bike riding you do, you also have a job that I'm sure calls for physical, mental and emotional energy.

Autumn, this is really lovely. I'm glad you decided to write again. I've missed your posts.

BUT-I do understand about your energy level. I look forward to retirement, but wonder just what I'll be able to do when that time finally arrives.

On the other hand, I do love where my head is now that I'm old. If only the body could keep up....

Ah, that is the interesting challenge: finding the balance between where our heads are and what the body can do to keep up...or try to keep up...or is that keep up as much as possible?

There's a partial second poem sitting on my desk. Today was errand running day, though, and I find that not only is my body feeling tired, but so is my mind.
