Before my comments, let me say thank you again for sharing a link of your review to g_clef_no_arash! :)
Your overall comment of the album is similar to my friend's. Both of you like Boku no Miteiru Fuukei more because of the variety. As for me, I think both of the albums hold a certain charm. I do think Beautiful World's more put-together in the sense that the songs tend to have more or less the same "techno" vibe, but for me it still has enough variety to not bore me. That doesn't make it the better album for me, though. They're just...different, but in a good way.
I agree with you on Sho's solo being a little high for him to sing. I nitpicked on his solo in my review, which I feel slightly sad about since he's my ichiban and I've loved all of his solos until this one came along. I still can't bring myself to like it completely but at least I can tolerate it more now.
hmm...i agree with you that BW is more put together. When i first heard the tracks, i immediately note that there were no slow, ballade type tracks with the exception of dear snow. but techno vibe doesn't satisfy me..hahaha.
my favourite of sho's solo is taboo. i feel that this singing there, or in boku no miteiru fuukei, in general, was pretty good. that made me really happy..haha..
