i need a bed

i need a bed for my new apartment

should i think about an airbed?

i'm thinking about something from ikea but dusty suggested an airbed could be an option

what does anyone think?

Get a nice mattress/boxspring from something like 1800mattres or something.. Don't cheap out sleep is important! And get a queensize nothing smaller.

For a long time I never had any proper bed (frame/headboard type thing) but I always had a nice mattress.

An airbed would be a nice stopgap while you save up for a better matress. My aunt had one that inflated itself and kept a constant pressure; it didn't feel like you were sleeping on a balloon but you kind of were, I guess. They are handy to have for guests, too.

Last I looked, IKEA had some sort of foam mattress. I'm wondering if thats any good for when I move to england

While an air mattress would probably be OK to sleep on if you got a good one, I'm not so sure how well it would hold up for "other activities" that might happen when Dusty came to visit ;-).
