i hope you're enjoying the holiday season.

i've been having a hard time updating my lj lately, because it makes me feel too vulnerable to put time and energy into putting my thoughts out there in the most eloquent/understandable way i know how, only to have people mangle what i'm trying to say into something they feel they can relate to, and then discard it. even worse when people dont even try to relate and just dismiss it as stupid, or worthless, or too negative. you're right, it's not for anyone but yourself. take anyone else's input - including my own - with nothing more than a grain of salt.

i am enjoying the holidays as much as i can..working way too much, but you know..

i agree, i hold back a lot on here unless i make it private..i have a journal i write in that i save true instances and emotions for..i just like to release or share something when i post on here and it is so frustrating to have people criticize me for my own livejounral, it just seems a bit ridiculous..you dont have to read it, just like i dont have to read anyone else's ..anyhow thank you for your reply and for understanding :) i need to work on letting other people's negative attitudes and outlooks effect me as much as they do.
