Why is it that people are completely unfazed by the fact that our government has been sabotaging the Iranian nuclear program for several years? Iran is a signatory of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and has a legal right under international law to utilize nuclear resources for non-military purposes. I get the impression a lot of people either aren't following the news, or they've bought into the scary terrorists thing. And maybe I'm way off, but there is the fact that many people in our country side with Israel, and since Iran isn't particularly buddy-buddy with Israel, we don't like Iran.

Anyhow, I agree with you, and I can't for the life of me wrap my head around our foreign policy on the Middle East.
