in our recent general election, most of the population voted for their party of choice (not because they believed in the party, but) because they felt it was 'time for a change.' this illustrates, quite vividly, the failure of our modern politics.

so i'm coining a term here in my blog which seems to be a popular custom of the time.

localization
the opposite of globalization.
the downscaling of all human activities to a smaller scale.
working, buying stuff, getting entertainment, etc. closer to home.

look out for this, i think it will become increasingly relevant.
