Hello journal! Hello friends! It has been so long! Still hate my job. Trying my best and sucking at it. I give them 100% and all I get back from them is "You're not DONE yet? You've been working on that for TWO HOURS! I've always been too slow. No matter how hard I try I am never fast enough to please people. These words have been the echo ( Read more... )

My company is still hiring... They actually prefer minimal experience in the field, and if you need a crash course, I'm sure piper_lightfoot could help you out.

Thank you but the problem is not the job. The problems is me and these troubles will follow me to whatever job I go to. Unless you can find me a job for which time is not a factor, I'm pooched.

:(

I hope your employment situation improves. I've been temping, which has its own problems, but it seems you have it worse than me... stress is a bad, bad thing. Strength to you!

Thank you Sadi. I'll need it. It's good to hear from you. I find it amusing that I opened your reply and you called! Em is on the phone with Mesia right now as I type this. hehe
Well, I'll talk at you later, I guess.

I sympathize with you. I've had similar problems in the work world- I tend to be TOO detail-oriented, to the point of a perfectionism that keeps me from working in a timely manner. I even had someone draw a (well-meaning) cartoon of me in the staff yearbook once making sure my hospital corners were folded "just right." It was very accurate.

I'm sorry your work situation is so inclined to misunderstand your motivation. *hugs*

Slow can be a good thing in life - unfortunately not usually in today's jobs. My work is soooo slow that time is not a factor, but the slowness just leads me to wonder how long I will stillbe employed. If I see anything that might fit the bill I'll let you know.
I Love you, miss you
