Last night really put things into perspective.

I wasn't lying on the bathroom floor of Bogie's, screaming and bleeding profusely.

Yes, things could have been a lot worse...

Some poor drunk girl was lying on the bathroom floor. She had apparently stepped on a broken bottle and sliced the pad of her foot, and one of my friends, along with a drunk guy and the bouncer, wrapped her foot with a towel before the paramedics came. ... I brought her water.

She's OK, though. The paramedics came and took her to get her all stitched up.

Driving home, Ginger and I realized that maybe we should go to Bogie's more often, simply to get some perspective.

Are you thinking "I'm glad I don't have a drinking problem" or "I'm glad my foot isn't sliced open and I'm lying on the dirty floor of a bar", or both?

Just kidding.

I think we should go to get moer persepective, but I wonder if there's a cleaner way
