It's hard to believe how far I have come this past year and how much one situation changed me. And for the first time since the whole debacle began, I am thankful it did because I have changed for the better, despite my missteps.
A year offers great perspective, and I'm soaking it in.
How have you been, friends?

I'm doing well. I have one semester left of school, then who knows where I will be. (I'm hoping some place with seasons, haha). I have a boyfriend who is absolutely amazing. I am working two photo jobs and am currently working on internship applications for the summer. ... Basically, I have no complaints. For the first time in a while, things are good.
Now, dear, tell me about YOU. What have you been up to? Are you excited about NaNoWriMo? I added you as a friend and expect you to keep me accountable to writing this month since I don't have much else to do, other than work and school. OK, kidding. How is life, post-college?
It's so nice hearing from you!

and yes, i'm absolutely excited about nanowrimo, i added you back a couple days ago wondering where you had been. And I WILL keep you accountable, make sure you're writing just as much (or more) as I am.
Life (post-college) sucks... I've moved back home with my parents and they are quite possibly worse (yes, worse) than they were with me in high school. I'm looking for a job (which also sucks because apparently the job market sucks too) and so I'm currently filling out applications for grad school (boo). How many times did I use the word "sucks" in this? lol.
I love you, girlie, and I've missed you SO much! We're so going to have fun this coming month!

I'm sorry post-college left sucks. At least you aren't having to pay rent. What kind of job are you searching for? And where are you applying to grad school? Those two things, while I'm sure are stressful, sound exciting and fun. However, I'll probably have loathe for them when I'm all graduated and done, too.
I've missed you, and I love you, too! November is going to be super fun. It's so nice being in touch again. ... It took us long enough, haha.

Remember when I was a bit of a wallflower on his way into high school?
And you were a first year university student with the whole world ahead of you!
Now I'm the first year university student!
What are you!?
Oh, I found the love of my life, by the way!!

I do remember when you were a bit of a wallflower on his way into high school, and when I was a bit of one during my first year at college.
I'm so happy you made it to college. I'm in it until May, then who knows? But it's lovely.
I'm also so happy you found the love of my life. Care to share details? Because that's a super exciting thing to happen!
Friend, it's so nice hearing from you. I've missed it.
