Hmmm...sounds like it's time for an emotional enema....though they always take form in different ways. Sometimes it's a long trip to see a friend you haven't seen in ages. Sometimes it's just popping into a bar and seeing a Japanese death metal band play only wearing tube socks. Either way, perhaps it's time you shake things up a bit.

I think this may not be a new feeling, not in the many years I've known you anyway...plus, I don't think it's all that much out of the ordinary, and while, I think, this may be a feeling one never gets over entirely (speaking only from personal experience), it is possible to distract oneself from this feeling for long periods of time. Perhaps you do need a vacation...:)

Is it expensive to live in Massachusetts? How close to Boston or Salem are you? I might start looking for full time jobs out there in the next year and am trying to get a good outlook on the state...

it's fairly expensive right around boston, but the salem area isn't too bad. I live *just* outside boston and the place we live is very nice but a bit expensive...there are more affordable places to be found that are pretty decent though...guess that would depend on what you would consider expensive.
