on time

in the world i work in, it was(currently - at the time) 2:54pm in Pune, India today - which is about 2:54am for me - when someone needed something for his day to continue. now someone is working because i had the answer from WTF over here at WTF hour of the day. and while this makes me understand the mutability of time on a regular basis, it ( Read more... )

Once again, we seem to be on scarily parallel tracks.

What's annoying is to come to these sort of conscious realizations and then find you're still limited to 24 hours per day, and at least 8 of those need to be sleep if you want to remain human and fit for companionship (at least, that's how I tick. I seem to remember you might require quite a bit less sleep than I).

What I find surprising about this kind of reflection is that by doing such prioritizing consciously, I discover that often the things I have been committing my time to are not always the things that I really *mean* to, and habit is no excuse for not getting what you want out of life. :)

these days i can't find a good reason to drag myself out of bed even after 12 hours some days...life just isn't doing it for me.

i've actually tried keeping track of what i spend my free(non-work) time on. TV and games are the biggest offenders, but i often don't have the capacity for much else...though i think that is a learned behavior that i have to unlearn...as with my sleeping habits...working on it.

i do miss our email exchanges, btw, i don't know if you got my most recent, or that i'd be much use these days, but i did enjoy them...

I have a few very bad habits to unlearn, myself. But at the same time, I have to acknowledge that I don't always have as much energy as I need in order to implement new training - which leads to more negative training.

It's a mess.

Re: emails. I miss them too, truly. Latest one? I don't think I've gotten it - possible to resend?

And you are *always* help, and useful. Often, in ways that keep revealing themselves much later...
