this kinda thing happens to me too, which leads me to wonder if maybe computers actually do have a mind of their own, with their own taste in music and all. hehe.
As much as I know about technology, I have yet to master the Playlist. In fact, I can't seem to get more than one playlist onto my iPod at a time and it takes about an hour to create ONE!
Do they have a tutorial for that feature? I have found zippidy dooda on the web site.
i've actually had pretty good luck with the playlists...it's quite likely that i wasn't paying attention and the song didn't quite play all the way through each time i heard it(which would have removed it from the particular playlist i was listening to)...that it played so many times was just broken random logic or perhaps i reset the logic by doing other things...*shrug*
wrt multiple playlists, i know that there is a tab with options for which playlists you want to sync to your iPod that allows you to just check off playlists. just click on your ipod in the nav and there should be a bunch of sync options - should look something like this:
So it starts farther back in the process. Been unable to CREATE the playlist without spending a thousand years on it. The basics of adding songs to the list have completely escaped me.
ahh. i see. i find the Smart Playlists to be quite useful once i got the hang of them...took a while though. you basically just have to play with the different choices until you figure out what gives you what you want. there's the plain old drag-and-drop lists too...which i never bother with really.
I find that my MP3 will match my mood often. Even more creepy is when it plays music for the run I *should* be doing, not the pace that I *am* doing. =)
