I'm back...

It's late and I'm beat! We just got home from O'Hare. Our 1 hour 20 minute flight turned into 4 hours. Because of storms in Chicago, we had to fly around in circles over Indiana for over an hour. At one point the pilot said we were running out of fuel and if he didn't hear any good news in the next 20 mintues we would have to land at Indianapolis. ( Read more... )

Wow, Colleen... what an adventure! I'm so glad that you're back, safe and sound. You must be totally wiped out. I'm sorry that you weren't able to attend the wedding. =(

Hooray for good times in DC, though, and I can't wait to see the pictures! Oh, speaking of being wiped out, I tried the Yogi Bedtime tea you'd suggested (I love Yogi teas, in general), and it knocked me out--and FAST! I couldn't believe it... I started to feel drugged halfway through the cup. Incredible stuff. Thank you for the recommendation!

Have a lovely Tuesday, Colleen! =)

Hi Kristi! We knew about the wedding last week, and though we wish we were there, it just wasn't possible. They are coming over with the wedding video on Thursday :)
I was just so glad that we were able to land in Chicago! Who knows how long we would have been stuck in Indianapolis!
I'm so glad you tried the tea!!! Isn't it amazing? I also feel drugged half way through. I usually drink it in bed while reading and I can barely keep my eyes open :)
Have a great night!
*hugs*

Hi Elaine!
Thanks, it's great to be away, but it's always nice to sleep in your own bed :)

Hi Debbie!
It was very important for the kids to get married as soon as possible. It's all about the insurance and getting Caytie into see the Dr. She seems fine and I'm sure all is well :)
DC was a blast!!!

Did you fly by my house?

I had a wedding like that, because I was pregnant with Hailey.

Maybe :) We were up near the top of the state forever!
If it wasn't for the insurance I think they would have waited.
I didn't realize you went through the same thing.
