“Kyuhyun-ah,” Ryeowook said one day, as he wandered into the living room to find the magnae sprawled comfortably on the couch watching one of the latest dramas with a bored expression.

“If Kangin-hyung was possessed by an alien, how do you think he’d act?”

Brown eyes flickered to his hyung, studying the innocent face for a moment before returning to the television screen where the lead actress had just busted into a torrent of tears.

“You’ve been talking to Donghae again, haven’t you?” the younger man asked, as the distraught woman on the screen wailed, ‘Why!’ in the background.

Ryeowook shuffled his feet a bit and cleared his throat, cheeks turning pink in embarrassment; but the look he was giving the younger boy was resolute.

“Maybe,” he replied evasively, pausing a moment as he fidgeted slightly where he stood, “…but I really want to know what you think he’d be like.”

“Well, what do you think?” Kyuhyun shot back distractedly, his eyes never leaving the screen. Now the handsome lead actor, the one that the starring actress was not going to end up with, appeared on the screen, trying to comfort the hysterical woman.

Puffing his cheeks out, the eternal hyung thought seriously about the question.

“Donghae-hyung said that aliens make people act the opposite of how they usually are…” he eventually trailed off, as Kyuhyun briefly redirected his gaze towards his fellow K.R.Y member before focusing once more upon the drama he had been watching.

“So you’re saying Kangin would help with the chores,” the gamer stated, a brow lifting at how impossible the mere thought could be.

Ryeowook considered his friend’s thought for a minute, nodding in agreement soon after he heard the comment.

“And he wouldn’t bully everyone all the time,” the smaller of the two added, nudging at Kyuhyun to move over so he could sit down. “What about Teukie-hyung?” he then asked, plopping himself down next to the taller boy.

“Teukie-hyung,” the Starcraft addict murmured, momentarily distracted as the main actor that was going to end up with the lead actress barged into the room; guns blazing, figuratively of course.

“Teukie-hyung would be…late. All the time,” the man remarked after he recalled their leader’s general habits.

“And since he doesn’t like to wake up, that would mean that the alien who possessed Teukie-hyung would be an early riser…who’s very shy around girls” Ryeowook added as an afterthought as Kyuhyun snorted.

That was about as possible as Kangin not teasing the other members on a daily basis.

“What about Eunhyukie?” the magnae asked. Though he was still staring at the television screen, his attention was now focused on the discussion at hand since it was comparatively more interesting then all the crying, hugging, and mandatory misunderstandings repeating themselves.

“Eunhyukie-hyung, he’d be a messy, utterly depressed person who showers a lot,” the petite singer predicted confidently…well aware of Eunhyuk’s obsession with cleanliness.

“And Minnie-hyung?” the sharp featured vocalist asked in return.

“He just,” Kyuhyun stopped briefly, actually considering how Sungmin would behave “…he wouldn’t act cute and he would absolutely despise the color pink.”

“Hyunnie,” Ryeowook said, trying to restrain a chuckle, “I don’t think that even aliens could compete with Sungmin’s love of pink.”

Kyuhyun hummed in acknowledgement. “You’re probably right,” he agreed, “…just like how aliens would probably lose to Donghae’s obsession with fish,” he added lightly.

“Though, when you think about it, aliens would probably make Donghae-hyung boring, wouldn’t they?”

“Maybe,” the gamer shrugged, tilting his head to the side so he could comfortably nestle in his hyung’s shoulder. “I think they would take away his dancing skills too.”

“Poor Donghae,” Ryeowook sympathized, leaning his cheek against Kyuhyun’s soft locks. “What about Kibummie?”

“He’d definitely be more talkative, much less shy,” Kyuhyun replied easily.

“Shindong?” the everlasting magnae continued, checking his fellow member’s names off his mental checklist.

“Would hate eating and have a really bad sense of humor,” the taller boy replied evenly, though the thought of Shindong not wanting to eat seemed unfathomable.

“Zhou Mi?”

“He’d frown…a lot, and he wouldn’t do his cutesy act,” Kyuhyun answered after a slight pause.

“Henry.”

The magnae breathed in contemplatively and thought about the mochi. “I think his violin skills would definitely suck and he’d be very arrogant.”

“And Heechul?”

Kyuhyun brought a hand up and rubbed his bottom lip thoughtfully. “The opposite of Heechul would be…Siwon…right?”

“Oh! It would. Wouldn’t it?” Ryeowook laughed in surprise, imagining a God loving Heechul preaching hymns of the Bible to his hyung’s.

“So that means that if aliens suddenly took over Siwon, he would start dressing in very feminine clothing too,” the magnae added as an afterthought, an amused smile planted upon his face.

“Don’t think he could pull it off as well as Heechul, though,” the gamer mussed.

“Of course not, not with that muscular frame of his,” the soprano vocalist said with a slight frown.

“You’ve been looking?” Kyuhyun asked with that infamous smirk gracing his features, as he shifted his head so he could meet Ryeowook’s eyes. However, only a perfectly serious quirk of the brows answered him back.

“Haven’t you?”

Kyuhyun conceded his defeat with a small chuckle and returned his eyes to the drama he had stopped paying attention to. “I think Hangeng would be violent if he was taken over by aliens,” the gamer suddenly said, not so subtly changing topics. “…Very violent.”

“That’s a scary thought, isn’t it?” Ryeowook murmured apprehensively, smoothly transitioning with the younger man. “But you know what would be even scarier?” he asked.

“What?”

“Yesung-hyung would be normal.”

There was a long pause, only punctured by the sound of a door slamming and the lead actress’s hysterical cries of ‘Sorry! I’m so sorry!’ as both men turned that thought in their heads.

“Yesung…normal?” Kyuhyun finally said, drawing out those two words as if it was a foreign phrase. “Yesung. Normal. Yesung? Normal?  Yesung normal? Yesung-”

“Alright, alright! I get it,” Ryeowook abruptly cut in, an exasperated yet amused smile playing on his lips. “It’s just not possible.”

“Even with aliens,” Kyuhyun stressed, nudging the smaller man in the side.

Ryeowook nodded. “Even with aliens,” he agreed, reaching over to pat the magnae’s thigh.

Kyuhyun let out a small satisfied sigh and snuggled closer to his hyung, his attention slowly being drawn back to the drama. The lead actor that wasn’t going to end up with the girl had just come to the realization that she would never love him when a thought suddenly occurred to him.

“What would I be like, then?” he asked, lifting his head to look at Ryeowook.

“Other than the fact that you would be able to cook the best tasting ramen ever?” the petite man questioned with a small smile.

The singer rolled his eyes. “Yes, other than that.”

“Well, for starters, you’d be a little more respectful to all your hyungs now wouldn’t you,” Ryeowook said pointedly though his eyes seemed to sparkle with mirth. “You’d also spend less time playing Starcraft and more time playing with the other members.”

Kyuhyun pouted slightly as he placed his head back on Ryeowook’s shoulder. “I spend plenty of time with you guys.”

“Time spent trying to convince everyone else into playing Starcraft does not count,” Ryeowook teased lightly.

The younger man simply scoffed and crossed his arms. “Well, if you were possessed by aliens I think you’d be very selfish. You wouldn’t cook, you wouldn’t clean. Basically, you’d be the laziest one out of all of us.”

“Mmm, then I suppose you’re glad aliens haven’t taken over me yet,” Ryeowook smiled.

“Very,” Kyuhyun answered immediately, knowing full well they would be stuck eating Hangeng’s ramen for the rest of their lives if Ryeowook refused to make their meals.

Nonetheless, the smaller of the two just laughed softly in reply and playfully patted the gamer’s cheek; whilst the magnae smirked and batted the hand away as both turned their attention to the drama now that the list of members was through.

“So who’s she going to end up with anyway?” Ryeowook asked, watching the lead actress traverse across the screen.

“…The guy with the bad hair.”
