On the knitting

At the beginning of the year, I joined an 11 Shawls in 2011 challenge. I am glad (and disappointed) to report that I am a little over halfway done with the challenge. In true type A fashion, I felt like I had the time and the energy and the patience to complete the challenge ahead of schedule

Beautiful! I love #5 but only because I love pinkish/mauve colors. I wear that color a lot.

I actually finished #7 'on schedule' and then it started unraveling after I washed it. Aaawesome. Lesson learned: do not leave your knitting unattended when children are within the vicinity. Stitches will magically jump off the needles.
