When I was little, I used to have a favorite book at my Nana's house. It was a green hardback, and it was crammed with fairy tales...but really original ones, ones from around the world that I'd never heard before

so i don't know if you were going to try to get it for yourself or not but after reading this i put in a bid of $25. i got outbid and i never rebid cause i have a whim-limit, that is indeed variable per whim, but $25 was the limit for this one. it ended up going to someone for $41.

so anyways, probably doesn't make not having it any easier on ya but at least your hat was in the ring for a little while.

I did put in a bid for it yesterday and was outbid immediately. We had a windstorm yesterday afternoon and I wasn't able to get online when the auction was ending, but I wouldn't have been the high bidder anyway. My whim-limit is a bit low right now.

But still, that was incredibly sweet of you! I owe you a hug.
