I went downtown today to have coffee with a friend whom I haven't seen in a while. Quite like all my friends, really. I don't have anyone I see regularly, unless I happen to be working with them or have a class with them. Right now I both work and study independently, so there goes most of my social interaction

hmm, i'll have to add gulliver's travels to my list of books to read... all i've read of swift is a modest proposal, but i quite enjoyed that :)
