There's a blog I frequent that's about the life of a young man studying at the University of Windsor. It seems rather popular. I myself can't tear my eyes away, I admit. The blogger is a very good writer. This is pretty much the only thing I like about him, though

Unless a crime has been committed: It is sexist to assume that these women who get hurt by hooking up with losers are victims who constantly need to be looked out for. It is sexist to treat these women as slaves to their past who are incapable of making rational decisions about their future.

Feminism is also about responsibility - on the part of the male AND the female.

What we should admit is that unless a crime has been committed (like rape or physical abuse), these women must deal with the consequences of consenting to be with these skanky jerks. Self esteem issues? Who DOESN'T have those? Doesn't mean one has to hang out with losers.

The guy you've described is certainly an ass, but he is not a criminal, and those women he meets are thus not victims.
