It's been a while. I guess I'm due for an update. I'm still out here on my own now in Alberta, taking classes and working on my writing. Alain's moved back with his family. There was too much tension between us with my mental health issues and his own, and he confessed he had feelings for a female friend of his back in Vancouver, so we went

I'm doing really well, I cannot complain. It's good to hear you're focusing on writing. I think it'll work out very well for you. After the holidays, I'm going to try to focus on one of my own dreams; sewing.

You're taking that quite well. I'm glad you're doing better, though admittedly, I'm a little sad to hear you two split up.

Thank you. I'm sure it sounds that way but I was very upset, and still am to some extent. I love him though, more than in a romantic way, and would rather see him reach his potential and be happy than be with him and have him not. I guess I'm just glad that we've both matured enough to stay friends this time.

Classes have really taken a huge part of my days away, unfortunately, now that I'm actually going to a physical school and not doing courses online. I am on right now if you'd like to talk.
