What times are you usually online? And under what name should I try to look for you, or what program? I'm not usually online, but it'd be good to know. It sounds like, well, still dealing with the first real wave (like here's the beef stuff) of culture shock downer, I mean, maybe not so down, but things are a bit rough and some of the smooth stuff has worn off. This is the mentality I have used and still use when necessary, and so far has prooved to be very true. Just remember how powerless most people feel in the Japanese hierarchical society, they probably see it as an opportunity to give shit to people from a dominating culture and world power like the USA. And while destructive criticism sucks, don't take it personally. Just remember where you are. And their cultural values. At least that part is in no way personal.
