This was pretty much the highlight of my day. The mere thought of the artwork, the drawings Zhou Mi made, is breathtaking and I loved all the descriptions. Already with the little happy three year old Zhou Mi I knew I'd love this fic :D And the rest certainly didn't disappoint in any way! ♥

I didn't want him to be an Art major because I didn't think that it would be realistic. Not to be narrow-minded, but most people I know all want to go into Science because it's just what they do. Some of them are amazing at drawing (I have a friend who can make life-like sketches of people in her life). Besides, I always find that art cannot be learned: it can be influenced, but not taught. Also, for me, enjoyments are those that I do not take too seriously - if they took up too much of my life and responsibility, my love for it will more often than not decrease so that it would be more of a chore. I wanted Zhou Mi to make it an occupation where his inspiration would always be beside him.

The point of having Ahra as an obstacle was to show everybody that Zhou Mi, though optimistic and seemingly perfect, is very affected by those he loves, and that he sincerely cares. He is inexperienced with love (with all the stalking and "admiring from afar") and sees only the good things about people, and that is what makes him start doubting
