We got the Olympics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be 26 then, and most definitely living in the city that I love and have grown up in. I am determined to be there to witness and experience as much as possible of a truly once-in-a-lifetime event!

I did watch. Unfortunately MTV's coverage here in the states was TERRIBLE. I should have watched on AOL--I could have chosen which performance to watch and seen them in their entirety with no YAPPING by veejays.

I was 16 the first time and am assured by my hubby and sister that the coverage was much better that time!

Yeah, feels funny some of you guys were my age when the *last* one happened. I wasn't even born!!

Ah well, it's one of the interesting things about me. My folks went there on their honeymoon, loved it so much that they decided to emigrate there and lived there for 5 years.

With such an idyllic habitat, my parents understandably got very randy and one of the consequences was me being born. My parents thought that I should be brought up with my family, so we came back to England when I was 2. I'm a UK Citizen, though- I possess a dual nationality. Handy, eh?
