ATTENTION: Gaze Into the Future

Apr 27, 2005 23:27

I know that I've been a bit slow with the icon making and believe me, it's not for lack of love for the hobby, I've just plum run out of things to icon up. I have large ideas in the "icon future"; during the summer I will cap all 50+ episodes of My Little Pony Season 1. I'm really expecting those batches to do well because, come on now, how many ( Read more... )

i'm looking forward the The Great Mouse Detective!! And The Fox and the Hound! And, OHMYGOSH, THE RESCUERS!!! BEST MOVIES EVER!!!! When you make those icons I think I'll marry you. It's really awesome of you to specifically work on movies that not a lot of people do a lot of. I mean, I love POTO as much as the next person, but honestly. Kudos to you for trying to remedy that.

I'm excited to see your primitive tutorials!

Anyway. Thanks for the update!

Ooh, I love A Goofy Movie, too! And here I was, thinking I was the only one.

If you'd like to know how to zip files and host them, I can tell you. I just found out fairly recently myself, and am in a sharing mood. ;)

(1) Download WinZip, if you don't already have it (just download the evaluation version, that's what I did -- I've had it for ages, and no troubles so far).
(2) Create a folder on your hard drive, and move all the caps into that folder.
(3) When you have all your caps in the folder, right click on the thumbnail for the whole folder itself, and if WinZip has been properly installed, there should be a "WinZip >" tab. Scroll over that, and from the new menu that pops up, select "Add to Zip file..." Now, WinZip does all the work for you, and now you have a zip file!
(4) For me personally, I host zip files over at The File Bin (because yousendit.com links expire after seven days, and are a general pain in the ass for all involved). Just register a name -- it's free, and gives you a lot of space for hosting. Plus, it's just ( ... )

=) of course i haven't forgotten.

bambi: that movie is not going into the "cap vault" yet and i do remember your requests. the main problem i'm having is that "he can call me a flower if he wants to..." is a long quote for an icon, so i'm experimenting with different ways to make it a nice icon as long as being readable. =) no worries, not forgotten

jessica rabbit: when you requested icons of jess, it provoked me to actually go out and buy "who framed roger rabbit". i took caps of it and i've already made a few icons out of it but i want to make a complete set before i post them up. jess will definitely be included in the set because she's the coolest character in the movie.
