Anyone ever have a bad reaction to ear phones? I don't use the ear buds that stick IN my ears, I use the kind that clip on the outside of the ear. My ears today are red and and Mom said they looked bad inside. I put peroxide in them and neosporin on the outer parts. I am already on massive dose antibiotics for my other health problems ( Read more... )

I get sore ears from my work headset sometimes, but it's mostly the pressure on my earrings. I've never found truly comfortable earphones for my music players or my cell, so i don't use them much.

But since Elsa died, Icapod is my best friend. If I am not attached my brain will melt.

i can't use earbuds, they hurt my ears too much.

I end up using the ones that have the holder to go around the ear. Those are the only ones I can really tolerate.

I rarely use earbuds for the same reason, but I can't figure why my ears are sore from my soft ear clip ones.

I hate earbuds. However, I did find some that fit inside the ear canal that are very comfortable. They can be washed in warm soapy water! They are the first non-headphone earbuds I have been able to wear for more than 30 minutes. They're also noise canceling so you can really tune out the world! :) They are a little pricy though (sennheiser cx300, about $30 from amazon). I was very hesitant to pay that much for earbuds but in my opinion they were totally worth it.

Sounds like perhaps the earphones are holding in moisture, which may be irritating them.
