Oh, hon. If anything, you're amazingly still poised in the middle of all this shit life throws you -- and you're not the only one among my friends who has gone through a series of horrible events, including medical, and been accused of either exaggerating or always talking about it. I can't remember offhand who exactly said that people can't bear very much reality, but sadly, for the most part, that's true.

I'm sorry this guy is being dickish. Consider yourself very tightly hugged indeed.

People can be selfish and don't want to deal with the harsh reality that someone else is suffering. It's hard to feel helpless, but I consider it my duty as your friend to stick by you, no matter how bad things get. At the very least I can keep reading, commenting and helping as I can. I guess that's how you find out who your true friends are. I hate that people keep doing this to you! Hugs!
