Bravo. Simply fucking Bravo. It's one of the biggest and most inane of ludicrous things in the world that this is still the case in this day and age. Simply freaking pitiful that people are still this narrow minded and afraid of the different .

What I cannot fathom in this case is....No One gave me and Heather a hard time. I dropped out of school in the 8th grade. And yet, I still attended every homecoming dance and prom they held while my friends continued to go there, and once we left Heather's house....we didn't even pretend to hide that we were yanno....together. We danced together, and I think we even kissed on the dance floor once. I remember being scared that one of the teachers would rat us out to the parental units, but even that didn't happen, at least not to our knowledge. So...if a smaaaall ass backwoods town like Nokesville can deal....why can't the rest of the world?

What kills me, no pun intended, is how absolutely savagely cruel a group of adults are purposely being toward a girl in high school. Really, adults? You have absolutely nothing better to do with your time, like flossing your teeth?

This. When I heard about the two seperate proms, I really had to wonder exactly how old these "adults" were. Seriously? It was just beyond insulting.
