Don't worry about it, I've got BBCAmerica and have bittorrented and have still only actually seen The Eleventh Hour, myself. If you enjoyed it, then that's great. I hope you continue to enjoy it. I'm looking forward to more River Song, myself.

I have the next two but haven't watched them yet. On the basis of this one, I don't hate him, but I miss Tennant. A lot. Of course, I miss Eccleston too.

The writing made me sick of Tennant. I know that he had nothing to do with the writing, but the end of his run was so maudlin and ignore eons of history that I just could not stand it.

I'm torn with Eccleston. Of course I would have loved it if he had done more, but on the other hand...if his heart was no longer in it then it would have sucked.

Those last few specials were not among my favourites, that's true. But overall I did like Tennant after I got used to him.

The history, I can't speak to since I've not seen any of the older stuff. With that much history, it is a bit daunting. Though I know some of the series has been lost to stupid BBC practices.

I've only seen one episode so far myself (just started in Oz) - and I loved it. I particularly liked what skunque objects to - that it didn't feel as if it wasn't David Tennant in the role any more, but as if it WAS the last Doctor regenerated/metapmorphosed. That's pretty damn good, seeing Tennant was my favourite so far. I think the new bloke will do very well indeed.

I'm a bit alarmed to hear that future eps may suck ... but it would take a lot to put me off my insane adulation of the dear Doctor, so I'll wait and see. (This Sunday, in fact.)

Merlin resumes here this weekend, too. It's all shaping up to be very satisfying. :) (I can't believe I like Merlin so much when it's so at odds with the legends in so many ways! But there you go; I do.)

Ever since we downgraded our dish programming (and lost BBCA) I have missed the Doctor. I'm so sad. :(
