Really Good Books

Now that I walk to work, I don't get much time to read. That said, I have read some really good books in the past while.

I can't stop reading the Mongol one. I didn't really know much about the culture beforehand, but I really dig it. There's some interesting anecdotes about women in the Mongol society pre and post Gengis Khan that have me cackling.

What's the other one on your wishlist?

The Alex one. He was such a character. Sounds like it's a tear-jerker though.

I believe the first chapter contains correspondence Dr. Pepperburg received after he died, and the last chapter is about the day he died. Skip them and you'll be fine - the rest is full of smug parrot hilarity.
