Fun at Dunkin' Donuts:

Good Morning from a humid Sunshine State! (or as Jimmy calls it, 'the Billboard State'!) It's early in the am, the A/C in my office is down and I have to get this off my chest. I'd like to talk about a topic that is near and dear to me. It affects us all, I believe ( Read more... )

I'm just amused there's something called a Dunkaccino.

I had mixed results with DD in northern VA... this is before I pretty much gave up on donuts since I can't eat them anymore without feeling like I have the flu and needing to pass out (guess it's that sugar thing).

I did notice a couple in VA had Indian owners... well, or Pakistan, Bangladesh... I never really ordered anything more complex than "whole wheat donut, please" to cause the sustained giant panic of requesting melted sugar

hmm, I've never heard of a "whole wheat donut." Then again, I'm not much of a donut eater. I fail to see how that could be yummy, though.

It was really sweet and yummy; it's just that it wasn't insanely sweet like other doughnuts! My pallet has changed to where now scones, which I used to find bland, I now find to be the correct sweetness level.

Hate to be the one to tell you this but a dunkaccino is from a machine that holds powder and mixes it with hot water. Hot chocolate same deal but different mix. I hate myself for knowing that. But in my defense I knew that before I worked there for 4 days because I saw them make them at other dunks when I was getting coffee.

OK, I live in New England. I agree, coffee sucks in florida (you have to go to new england or the northwest to get good coffee, the entire rest of the country sucks, trust me on this one.) But DD for gods sakes! They don't even serve coffee. What you are drinking is coffee flavored sugar milk. YUCK! See my blog on the subject.
