Thanks for the hug. I'm hating the sickness, but there is nothing for it. It's a rite of spring I think.
As for the brown water, well it is also unavoidable. Everytime I go there I'm plied with cup after cup of the stuff, and yet I find myself becoming more and more tired, until death seems a mercy.
I had thought I was alone in this feeling until my brother-in-law commented on my grandmother's life sucking abilities. Not to say I don't love her, or that she isn't wonderful, she just seems to have an amazing anesthetic affect on people.

Oh if only we could bottle her ability to suck the life right out of someone, we could be RICH, RICH i tell you! Then you know what Pinky, then, WE TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! (We could also subdue anyone who grated our last raw nerve) Dude..i think the coffee is part of her cover....she actually puts her magic mojo elixir in that water and feeds it to whomever will take part....that's why grandpa is so well behaved...he's been drinking it all.these.years. And we just thought he was mellow...nope...its Nannan the energy vampire. That's why she's so high energy....she's feeding off the rest of us. But bless her heart...she sure tried her best at my graduation not to use her powers for evil...she left most of our energy intact. Thinking back to randy leaving Nannan's with that dazed and confused look...like he just woke up from surgery...or a mugging...was priceless.
