Being in LA

Somebody told me what to do in this area, but I completely forgot.
I have parents here, and the three of us are collectively clueless. What the heck does one do fun in LA?

as long as the observatory isn't being torn to peices by a werewolf while you're there anyway.

sorry. i'm just thinking of the end of vtm-bloodlines. i've played through that game 10 times, now (i think) and after the second or third time that was the only part that scared me. still scares the crap out of me and probably always will. that thing takes half your health in one hit and there's nothing you can do to it!

There's something wrong with the observatory in Bloodlines!? That's exciting. I'm running a Hunter campaign right now for some friends and it's based out of LA. The observatory in my game has something wrong with it too! Yay.

there's nothing WRONG with the observatory, you just have to survive a werewolf attack for 5 min until the tram comes back while you're there. unless you figure out how to turn the power on and crush it between the observatory doors anyway--then the timer stops and the tram comes back, plus you get extra xp. but i don't do it for the points, i do it because that thing nearly gives me a heart attack every time.
