You definately haven't lost your touch when it comes to coloration, and re-coloring. I'm absolutely in love with the selection of animanga icons :3

As much as I love the bright coloration, and amazing text work, I can't help but fall in love with 21... the subdued colors are perfection, and the motion blur behind the text is so sharp and unexpected <3

I hate myself for deciding to re-colour, but I just don't know what to do with icons otherwise.

That is one of my favourites too. Trouble is, I can't even remember how I coloured it, I need to find my PSD file again, but I do remember that I wanted it to look different, then I was happy with how it turned out.

Why do you hate yourself? I personally love the effect and depth it gives your icons...

LOL, I love and hate when that happens all at the same time! Sometimes the icon just decides how it's going to look all by itself and we don't have a choice XD

Of course i remember! Oh my gosh, I was just thinking of icons and this community and you and the whole iconing business back in the day. One of those "wow remember when I used to do that?" type of moments.

Thank you so much for your comment - lovely as always. I tried to get better but I have been very inconsistent and barely active, (but I do login so that counts) though that reminds me I have some things to put up. And I realise I have lots of links to fix oops.

I had no social life a while back so decided to watch Doctor Who and got insanely obsessed for a few crazy months. I got through the first 4 seasons in record time then the ending of season 4 left me traumatised. That is my story. Anyway enough about me, how have YOU been? I noticed a while ago your old account was purged so I didn't think I would see you around again.

I apologize for the late reply. The LJ notification got lost somewhere in my inbox.

So, I might've totally forgotten how to use LJ. It's funny, the older I get, the more technologically hopeless I become. EVEN with interfaces I've dealt with in the past.

My old account being purged is kind of a long story. Increasing magnitude of depression was a large contributor. I felt like I was going through rough family shit. But now I live away from them, so that's gotten better. Everyone's more kinder and more loving to each other.

I got into Doctor who a year or two after my animanga obsession faded. And the rest, as they say, is hostory. Who really ever gets OVER Doctor Who? Or David Tennant amirite?

Where are you these days? Last I remember, you were on a visit to Croatia, if I am not mistaken. What have you been up to?
