Seth had a throbbing headache. He stood at the sink with a glass of ice cold water in his hand trying to block out the high pitched laughter and squealing of their twin girls as they ran through the house. Having two five year old girls with just himself and Luka to supervise while Jasper was away hunting was stressful. Seth finished his water and headed for the living room where Luka was strumming his guitar on the couch.
“Luka?”
“Yeah Dad?” Luka asked looking up.
“Would you mind taking your sisters out for a couple of hours so my head doesn’t split in half?”
Luka chuckled as he put his guitar on its stand by the fireplace. “Little too much happiness for you Dad?”
“Little too much squealing,” Seth replied with a pained smile.
“Sure thing Dad, lemme just run up to my room and get my camera, the girls love to pose for the camera.”
Seth gave Luka a one armed hug, it had taken awhile but he had finally realized that his baby was now almost twenty-one years old. Luka didn’t want to be hugged and kissed on all the time as he once had. Seth watched as Luka jogged up the stairs to his room. It amazed him how much Luka had grown over the years, as he had matured his features had taken on more of Jasper’s look but there was still no denying that he was Seth’s baby.

Luka grabbed his camera, a Nikon D40 that he had gotten for his 18th birthday, before heading to his sister’s room. He smiled as he leaned against the door jam, watching the two play with their tea set, loud giggles and laughter coming from whatever make believe party they were having. “Hey! AK!”
Both girls looked up at their older brother’s nickname for them. “What?” They asked in sync.
Luka held up his camera. “Let’s go have a photo shoot outside.”
Aylen and Kaya squealed in delight, jumping up and running for the door, their tea party long forgotten. Luka shook his head as he followed at a slower pace. His dad gave him a grateful look from the armchair as they headed outside. Luka understood the headaches his sisters could cause, they may have only been five years old but they were loud enough to be teenagers. Luka almost felt sorry for his parents, almost.
“Where should we go Luka?” Aylen asked turning to him. She and Kaya held up a hand and he took them while looking around.
“How about the tree swing?” He questioned. Both of the twins nodded and started pulling him in that direction. Once they reached the tree swing, something that his Papa had put up for him when he was around the twins age, he kneeled down to straighten their pigtails. “We’ve gotta make sure you’re pretty for the pictures. How about we do some pictures of you guys together and then I’ll do individual ones?”
Aylen and Kaya glanced at each other for a moment and Luka waited to see if they would argue about his proposed idea. Sometimes they could have some blowout arguments… thankfully; this wasn’t one of those times. Both girls nodded before they ran over to the swing. Luka moved a little closer but then kneeled again to get the right angle. He shot about twenty pictures of the twins before he looked back through them.
“Okay AK… how about this… sit next to each other and wrap one arm around each other.” He waited for the girls to get into the position. “This one will be for Daddy and Papa okay? So give me big smiles!”
